BIO
Mishelle Braithwaite is the author of Brooke's Bedtime, her debut children's book. Born and raised in Evanston, Illinois, she now lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and three kids. Mishelle had a career in Administration, as a Business Manager for the City of Atlanta, Department of Law. However, once she gave birth to her first child, she decided to resign from her full time corporate job to be a full time stay-at-home mom. Mishelle decided to write Brooke's Bedtime after her difficulties of putting her daughter to bed every night. She wrote the story to teach young children the importance of getting a good night's rest and also to show them that preparing for bed with their parents can be fun.
Mishelle graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from University of Phoenix. She plans to continue writing children's books that teach children life skills.
